The physicians at Katy Internal Medicine Associates (KIMA) have received special training and education on the prevention and treatment of adult illnesses. We care for our patients’ overall health, but also work closely with other physicians to identify and treat specific problem areas. If a patient has a specific problem or disease, we’ll consult and work with a specialist in that area to manage and treat the problem. Our physicians will remain involved, coordinating treatment and ensuring that our patients receive the care they need and deserve.
KIMA physicians are not general practitioners or family practice physicians. We focus only on adult medicine. Common ailments such as colds, coughs, flu, allergies, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes, minor wounds, headaches, depression or new and unusual symptoms are reasons you should make an appointment with us. We’ll then determine if we treat your problem, order further tests or refer you to a specialist.
Our physicians have long-term relationships with many of our patients, caring for them throughout their adult lives. This relationship, based on trust and mutual respect, ensures our patients get the best care they need from physicians who know and have treated their specific problems over the years. We pride ourselves on being there to care for our patients whether in our office, a hospital or their nursing home. |
